Palm Springs Golf Resort PDF Print E-mail
Written by Dennie

One of the best courses on the island & perfectly situated on the North East coast of Batam Island at Nongsa lies the  Palm Springs Golf & Country Club which was carved out of a mangrove swamp. On your arrival you can pick any 2 of the three outstanding nine holes courses (Island, Resort & Palm) to complete your round - note the toughest and the oldest is the Palm Course. The view from the signature 6th hole is breathtaking, as on a clear day one could see the sea and the islands off the beach from either the tee or above at the refreshment house. The layout by Larry Nelson is forgiving for the high handicappers and yet becomes challenging for the pros when played from the championship tees.

The 9 hole 'Springs Course' that opened in Jan 2008, provides an additional 4/5 new holes that are shared with 4/5 holes from the Palm Course. This par 35 course's meterage is relatively low at only 2546 Meters however there are a number of interesting holes that will challenge most golfers.

Visitors are welcome with the following Green Fees:
